Profile

Manufactures specialty chemicals for agricultural, oilfield, industrial, and surfactant markets. Expertise areas include oxyalkylations with EO, PO, and BO. Fatty Amine chemistry, inclusive of cyclization for imidazolines, amidation, and ammonolysis. Catalytic Hydrogenation to 500 psi and 350C. Polymerizations, including condensation and free radical. Phosphorus chemistry inclusive of organic phosphates, amine-phosphorus, phosphorus acid, and polyphosphoric acid reactions. Quaterizations utilizing methyl chloride, benzyl chloride, chloroacetic acid, and epichlorohydrin.

Typical Equipment: Seven G/L Pfaudler reactors to 4K gals. Fourteen, SS reactors to 13K gals. and 450 psi.
One CS high pressure reactor, 3K gals. and 580 psi.

Paul/Fundebach/Mott, Nutsche/Sparkler, and carbon bed filtrations.

Distillation equipment: WFE, 316L SS with 50 sq.ft.; Two packed, 304L SS towers.

Multiple blending/storage tanks to 30K gals. Some heated and agitated.

Hot Oil to 360C, and vacuum to 1 mm Hg with 2-3 stage steam ejectors.

Multiple pilot plant reactors to 500 gal.
