McGean develops specialty chemical technology and manufactures organic and inorganic chemicals. Principal industries served include: fiberglass, catalysts, pigments, oilfield chemicals, metal finishing chemicals, glass, dye pigments and maintenance chemicals for commercial and military aircraft.
The company has two principal divisions. The Speciality Chemicals Group manufactures a range of speciality inorganic and organic chemicals. These include intermediates based on allyl chloride (principally sodium allyl sulfonate monomer), epichlorohydrin, benzyl chloride, organic zircoaluminates and chrome chloride complexes. Our inorganic specialities consist of compounds based on chromium, nickel and copper.
The Cee Bee Division offers a range of chemistries for aircraft maintenance. These include products for interior and exterior cleaning, sanitizing and lavatory care, exterior paint stripping, and turbine engine overhaul. Cee Bee products have approvals from aviation groups such as AMS, Boeing, Airbus, and the military.
