MFG Chemical Inc., soon to celebrate its 30th anniversary continues to be owned and operated by the Gavin family with Charles (Chuck) Gavin IV as President. Headquartered in Dalton, Georgia with a long history of support to the endemic carpet industry with two manufacturing sites, the focus of the corporation is now predominately on custom/toll manufacturing. MFG’s relationships with numerous companies in Pulp and Paper, Coatings, Oil Field and Agriculture Industries represent the new paradigm of the corporation. More than 15 years experience as a custom/toll manufacturer noted for confidentiality and manufacturing partnerships. While typically a "liquids only" batch manufacturing, MFG has a broad experience with diverse chemical processes although specializing in surfactant and polymer synthesizes MFG has 9 reactors [5000-1000 gallon] and a pilot plant with a 100 gal SS and a 30 gal glass reactors. In addition to the medium pressure steam heat on all vessels, MFG also has a 2,500 gallon SS reactor equipped with hot oil for temperatures as high as 5500F.
