Ruger’s Capabilities
REPACKING:
Aside from repacking graded raw materials (see “Products”), we also repack many laboratory reagents and solvents. Most of these products comply with the specifications prescribed by the American Chemical Society. We are also fully capable of private (toll) repackaging of customer supplied products.
FULL SERVICE DISTRIBUTION:
Our shipping point is in the Northeast US. We are the premier source for Pharmaceutical and Personal Care actives and excipients distribution. Our in-house trucking is available for delivery directly from our conveniently located facility, and we are close to New York area international airports and forwarders.
LABORATORY:
Analysis of all our repackaged products is performed in our in-house Quality Control Laboratory and/or provided by our manufacturers/suppliers. Our laboratory also provides technical and regulatory support to our customers.
SPECIFIC PRODUCTS:
The listing of products in our catalog and on our web site is for our most common products. Additionally, we constantly resource and add new products to our product list. For items not listed in our catalog, or for a specific manufacturer's product in repackaging quantity, please inquire to customer service.
Ruger's Certifications
FDA:
Ruger Chemical Co. is registered with the United States Food and Drug Administration as a re-packer, re-labeler of Pharmaceutical, Food Grade and Cosmetic raw materials. Our establishment registration number is 2210672 and our labeler code is 061972.
PRODUCTS:
Products designated as USP Grade comply with the specification of most current edition and subsequent supplements of the United States Pharmacopeia. The products with NF Grade designation meet the specifications of most of the current edition of National Formulary. Similarly products labeled as FCC Grade meet the required specifications of current edition of Food Chemical Codex, and A.C.S. Grade meet the prescribed specifications as listed in the current edition and subsequent supplements of Reagents, published by the American Chemical Society. Reagent Grade is assigned to chemicals of high purity, suitable for use in analytical laboratories, Purified Grade is assigned to chemicals of superior quality for which there is no official standard, C.P. Grade is assigned to “Chemically Pure” chemicals where only partial analytical information is available. Food Grade is assigned to chemicals which have clearance for use in food and related products, Cosmetic Grade is assigned to chemicals suitable for use in the cosmetics industry, and Technical Grade is assigned to chemicals of commercial and industrial quality. Many of our products also meet the requirements of EP (European Pharmacopeia), BP (British Pharmacopeia), and JP (Japanese Pharmacopeia) and can be certified to those designations.
cGMP:
Our USP, NF and FCC Grade products are offered for use in food and drug products. These products are handled in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices guidelines as specified under Title 21 CFR, part 210 and 211.
DEA:
Ruger Chemical Co., is licensed by the United States Drug Enforcement Administration to repack and distribute Controlled Dangerous Substances, listed Class I Chemicals and Essential Chemicals regulated by the DEA.
Orders for DEA Regulated Substances will be accepted only in writing. A current copy of your DEA registration certificate must be on file with Ruger and should be valid for the class of the items on the Purchase Order.
EPA:
Ruger Chemical Co. is registered by the United States Environmental Protection Agency to process products regulated by that agency.
KOSHER:
Ruger Chemical Co. operates under the authority of Star-K and complies with strict dietary and Rabbinical requirements when handling and processing products with this designation.
NACD:
We are a proud member of the National Association of Chemical Distributors and comply with its Responsible Distribution Program, a Responsible Care and Product Stewardship program initiated by the American Chemical Council.
