SF-Chem is a privately owned fine chemicals manufacturer based in Switzerland. SF-Chem supplies intermediates and final products to the pharmaceutical, agrochemical and speciality chemical industry.
SF-Chem's leading position results from the back integration into chlorination, sulphonation and methylation reagents. In combination with state-of-the-art production facilities this gives SF-Chem a leading-edge position in this type of chemistry.
Based on the reagents, SF-Chem offers a wide range of standard downstream products as well as custom manufacturing expertise. Core technologies include chlorinations, sulfonations, chlorosulphonations, chloromethylations, oxidations and methylations. Core product groups are acid chlorides, sulphonyl chlorides, alkyl and aryl chlorides, chloroethylamine derivatives, chloromethyl ethers and esters and sulphur trioxide-amine complexes. Working nearly for 90 years with these products, SF-Chem has a longstanding experience in producing, handling and processing corrosive and hazardous materials.
SF-Chem offers custom manufacturing including process development and scale-up through to full commercial production.
