Industrial air pollution and the U.S. Clean Air Act, with its deadlines for industry compliance, together were the impetus behind Solvay Chemicals' formation of SOLVAir® Solutions. Used in power generation industries for many years, SOLVAir products have proven effective in the removal of SOx (sulfur oxides), NOx (nitrogen oxides), HCl (hydrochloric acid), HF (hydrofluoric acid) and heavy metals such as mercury from flue gas emissions.

Soil and Groundwater Applications
From chemical oxidation of many contaminants to in-situ and ex-situ bioremediation of petrochemical spills, Solvay Chemicals offers a wide array of products for soil and groundwater remediation.
