Since its founding in 1989, Suven Life Sciences has established its core competency in the development of small nitrogen containing Heterocycles such as pyrimidines, purines, indoles, and imidazoles. Adding to its renowned expertise in cyanation, more recently, Suven has also demonstrated its proficiency in Carbohydrate and Chiral chemistry including Pyrrols, tetrahydrofurans, sulfinamides, and sulfoxides. Over the years, Suven has striven to bring key technologies into commercial scale production, the latest success being the large-scale manufacture of chirally pure tert-butylsulfinamide (TBSA; Ellman’s reagent; 2-methyl-2-propanesulfinamide ), a powerful chiral auxiliary.
