2PC® has product chemistry with over 30 years of industrial applications. For use in central systems, 2PC® has proven efficacy against a broad range of bacteria and fungi at recommended use levels.
MERGAL® S90
A systemized approach to dry-film protection, MERGAL S90 imparts a full spectrum of biological control including protection from common species of fungi and algae that cause unsightly marring and shorten the life of exterior applied caulks and sealants. MERGAL S90 is VOC free and color stable.
POLYPHASE® 588
Polyphase 588 is a clear liquid, synergistic fungicide/algaecide that provides dry film protection for aqueous and solvent-based coatings. POLYPHASE® LTP
Polyphase LTP is a water-dispersible liquid preservative for preventing mildew and rot in the dry film of aqueous and solvent-based adhesives, polymer coatings, and of SBR latex emulsions for carpet backing. POLYPHASE® P100
Polyphase P100 is an off-white crystalline solid, non-phenol fungicide and mildewcide effective against a wide variety of fungal organisms. Polyphase P100 is used to prevent the growth of fungi and mildew in press cakes and in fiber and yarn lubricants. Polyphase P100 also provides protection against mildew and rot.

MERGAL® 174P

MERGAL® 680

MERGAL® 753

MERGAL® K10N
MERGAL K10N is a VOC free, clear, water-based liquid, free of glycols, surfactants and metals for the preservation of adhesives, antifoams, dyestuffs, print pastes polymer and latex coatings, thickeners, fabric softeners and other wet processing chemicals. MERGAL K10N complies with FDA Title 21 CFR175.105, 176.170, 176.180, 176.300, and 177.2600.
MERGAL® K12N
MERGAL K12N is a fast acting, water-soluble liquid preservative for control of bacteria, yeast and fungi in adhesives, antifoams, dyestuffs, print paste, polymer and latex coatings, thickeners, fabric softeners, and other wet processing chemicals. MERGAL K12N complies with FDA Title 21 CFR 175.105 and 176.170.
MERGAL® K14
MERGAL K14 is a fast acting, water soluble liquid preservative for control of bacteria, yeast and fungi. For use in resin emulsions, pigment slurries, waterborne paints, and other coating products where water is a component. Especially suited for coatings containing some residual redox agents.


DISPERSANTS/ SURFACTANTS

TROYSOL™ 307
Troysol 307 is a silicone copolymer that eliminates air entrainment in reactive systems such as epoxy, and urethanes. It provides improved surface flow, and eliminates common defects as fisheyes and orange peel. It is very effective in high-solids coating systems. Low use levels result in low cost-in-use performance for the coatings manufacturer.
TROYSOL™ 367
Troysol S367 promotes the wetting of contaminated surfaces such as metal and low surface energy substrates such as PET, Mylar™ , polyethylene and polypropylene. It improves surface appearance by promoting surface flow to eliminate crawling and pinholes. Troysol S367 is the wetting additive of choice for alkyl phenol ethoxylate-free coatings.
TROYSOL™ 380W
Troysol 380W promotes excellent wetting for water reducible coatings applied to contaminated or low energy surfaces. Coating properties including adhesion, flow and leveling, surface appearance and color acceptance are improved with the use of Troysol 380W. It is easily incorporated for production batch adjusTMent.
TROYSOL™ AFL
Troysol AFL is a mixture of polymeric materials. It provides superior air release when used in industrial coating applications, such as wood finishing, furniture finishing, automotive, coil coating and metal decorating. It eliminates air entrainment in polyester gel coats.
TROYSOL™ AFP
Troysol AFP is a surface active additive to reduce pigment flooding and pigment floating in non-aqueous coatings. This insures a uniform color (no floating) and the correct color (no flooding) for the dry coating. Troysol AFP stabilizes the surface tension forces during the drying process.
TROYSOL™ LAC
Troysol™ LAC promotes superior wetting for aqueous and water reducible inks applied to low energy surfaces. Low concentrations reduce the coating surface tension resulting in improved adhesion, excellent flow and leveling, with the elimination of surface defects. TROYSOL™ MS2
Troysol MS2 is an additive for increasing slip at the coating surface while maintaining excellent recoatability. The increase of slip improves the resistance properties such as mar and abrasion. The tendency for blocking is minimized and surface leveling improves. Troysol MS2 is effective in non-aqueous and water reducible coating systems.

TROYTHIX™ 42BA
Troythix 42BA, the rheology additive for batch correction, increases the viscosity without changing the viscosity profile. Troythix™ 42BA increases viscosity with a minimal effect on gloss, and no adverse effect on color uniformity.
TROYTHIX™ 704SSA
Troythix 704SSA increases resistance to pigment settling without increasing the application viscosity. It is particularly beneficial for industrial applications including primers, dip coatings, stains and other low gloss systems. Troythix 704SSA is effective in most non-aqueous, solvent-free and water reducible coatings.
TROYTHIX™ 707SSA
Troythix 707SSA increases resistance to pigment settling in high gloss coatings without increasing application viscosity. It is effective in industrial coatings including automotive finishes, dipping enamels, coil coatings, and aerosols. Troythix™ 707SSA has no negative effects on coating properties.
TROYTHIX™ A
Troythix A, a chemically-modified castor ester, is activated by temperature and shear energy. It imparts a highly thixotropic viscosity, improving resistance to sag and settling, improving application properties, and reducing substrate penetration.
TROYTHIX™ ANTISAG 4

DEFOAMERS

TROYKYD® D01
Troykyd D01 is a hydrophobic silica based defoamer. Its versatility provides rapid air release in the grind and letdown phases of flat to semi-gloss architectural coatings. This product provides fast bubble break during roller and spray applications. Troykyd D01 has excellent long term persistence.
TROYKYD® D04
Troykyd D04 provides cost effective defoaming in many adhesive, paint and ink applications. It is silicone free and water dispersible for ease of incorporation. Troykyd D04 will not adversely affect color acceptance properties. It is used in acrylic paints, inks, poster colors and water colors.
TROYKYD® D11
Troykyd D11 is especially effective for adhesive products applied in industrial applications. In curtain coating applications, its silicone free composition does not adversely affect curtain integrity. It is also effective in pressure sensitive adhesives and consumer emulsion type adhesives.
TROYKYD® D120
Troykyd D120 is a silicone-free dry defoamer providing controlled air release in applications such as joint compounds, concrete, grout, decorative plaster, spackling compounds and masonry coatings. Troykyd D230 is a strong silicone-based antifoam. It prevents air entrapment during pigment grind, and is not adversely affected by prolonged manufacturing time. Troykyd D230 is extremely effective for color pigment concentrates.

The active ingredient of Troykyd D336 is based upon a synthetic wax, which is dispersed in a hydrocarbon carrier system. For concentrate and tankside applications, Troykyd D336 is also recommended for aqueous cleaning formulations.

Troykyd D726 is a robust defoamer containing multi-hydrophobes. It provides long term defoaming efficacy in flat to gloss architectural coatings. Troykyd D726 can often be used as a single defoaming material in systems where multiple defoamers have been required previously for adequate defoaming function.
TROYKYD® D727
Troykyd D727 is extremely effective in high foaming aqueous systems. It is excellent for gravure ink applications, and high speed laminations. This product may also be added press side for improved performance. Troykyd D727 is silicone free and water dispersible for ease of incorporation.
TROYKYD® D729
Troykyd D729 is a very effective silicone-based antifoam additive for preventing air entrainment during pigment grinding or other process applications. It is effective for the full range of aqueous coating types and can be used in flat to high gloss products. It can be used alone or in combination with a letdown defoamer such as Troykyd D726.
TROYKYD® D734
Troykyd D734 is silicone based defoamer that is effective where a high degree of clarity and high gloss is required. It hydrocarbon oil-free, and is used in coating and ink systems which cannot handle hydrocarbon oils. Troykyd D734 is especially effective in acrylic and styrene acrylic systems.
TROYKYD® D736
Troykyd D736 is a silicone-free defoamer that does not adversely affect film properties. It has low viscosity, and is very easily incorporated in both grind and letdown phases of flat architectural coatings.
TROYKYD® D740
Troykyd D740 is a high-solids, silicone emulsion. It is extremely effective in clear acrylic and polyurethane aqueous varnishes. It is an excellent antifoam and defoamer for high gloss acrylic, and styrene acrylic coatings. Troykyd D740 has wide utility for architectural, maintenance and industrial applications.
TROYKYD® D747
Troykyd D747 is an easily dispersible silicone-based antifoam. It does not contain hydrocarbon oil. This product provides excellent antifoam results in clear acrylic and polyurethane applications. Troykyd D747 is effective in difficult maintenance and industrial applications, and is able to control microfoam.
