Based on the system reformation of Wuhan University Chemical Plant (Founded in 1958) and with the approval of the Ministry of Education of China and Hubei Provincial Economic & Trade Commission, Wuhan University Silicone New Material Co. Ltd. was incorporated as a high-tech enterprise in October 2000 under the sponsor of Wuhan University (Main charter member), SINOPEC Wuhan Phoenix Co. Ltd., Tsinghua Unisplendour High-tech Venture Capital, Inc., Shenzhen Yi-Long Investment Co. Ltd., and other ten members.

Our main business scope is researching, developing, producing and marketing silicone new materials and offering technical service and technical transfer. We possess our own intellectual property rights and strong R&D capabilities. Our products are extensively applied in several decade industries as electronics, telecommunication, auto, electric power, building materials, rubber, plastics, aviation & aerospace, military defense industry etc.
