With over one hundred years of experience in chemical manufacturing, Oak-Bark Corporation (OBC) is dedicated to producing only the highest quality industrial, specialty and fine chemicals.

Oak-Bark Corporation’s predecessor in the chemical business was founded in 1883. Our corporate offices are located in Wilmington, North Carolina and production facilities are in nearby Acme and also in Scotia, New York.

We are a responsive company, driven by customer satisfaction. Strong financially, we can expand our facilities, to meet our customers' requirements. OBC has 50 employees, including 3 Ph.D.'s and 6 M.S. & B.S. level chemists.

Our core businesses include the manufacture of organosilanes and siloxanes (for pharmaceutical, electronics, industrial and specialty chemical use) through our Silar Laboratories division, specialty organic chemicals, and toll manufacturing.

Our Acme, NC plant is ISO 9000-2001 certified. We have a cGMP facility that would allow us to manufacture pharmaceutical active ingredients (API's) on a custom basis.
